The 3rd CIPSA Category Management Forum one of the best ever29 Mar 2010Feedback from the evaluation forms from the 3rd CIPSA Category Management Forum held last week at the Australian Technology Park Conference Centre in Sydney suggest that this was one of the best conferences yet run under the CIPSA Conferences brand. With 35% of the delegates rating their overall impression of the conference as "Excellent", 60% rating it as "Good", and a measly 5% rating it "average", the marks certainly suggest that it was very well received by delegates. However, the overall impression marks don't tell the full story. According to CIPSA Conferences Event Director Nigel Wardropper, who has had the dubious pleasure of analysing the evaluation forms for every conference since the inception of the brand, the comments were what really set this one apart. "I don't think I have ever read a set of evaluations that have been so enthusiastic about the content of a conference before", said Wardropper. There was not one single evaluation that did not express huge satisfaction at at least some of the sessions attended. The overall standard of the presentations and seminars was obviously outstanding." "I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Speakers for their contribution to what was, from our point of view, a fantastic event." With 250 delegates passing through the conference, the networking opportunities were also well received, with feedback from many of the delegates indicating that they found the range of sponsors and exhibitors in the Purchasing Exchange added real value to the event.
