Toll makes two acquisitions in UK

Transport and logistics group Toll Holdings will boost its European operations by acquiring United Kingdom based freight forward WT Sea Air Group and Genesis Forward Group. Toll said on Friday that the combined purchase price was around $150 million.  WT and Genesis are expected to generate more than $250 million in annual revenue and are expected to add to earnings per share in year one.

Toll managing director Paul Little said the acquisitions would provide significant scale to Toll’s global forwarding division in Europe.  TGF continues to grow its leadership position in Asian markets for key trade lanes into North America, Australia and the UK Mr Little said.
