CIPSA graduate information sessions promote procurement careers

Information sessions for business and supply chain graduates organised by the CIPS Australia Victoria and Tasmania regional committee have showcased procurement career opportunities and developed closer ties between talented graduate students and the profession.

During August the committee delivered presentations together with Michael Page and Jigsaw Search at RMIT Graduate School of Business and Melbourne Business school.

These presentations, encouraging students to consider a career within purchasing and supply, covered what procurement is, the range of roles available across the profession, attributes of an effective procurement practitioner, career progression and the role and benefits of CIPS.

Approximately 50 students attended these sessions.  The committee would like to thank Jigsaw Search, Michael Page, RMIT Graduate School of Business and Melbourne Business School for their contributions to, and support of, these successful evenings.
