Virgin Australia-Singapore Airlines procurement services given green light

Virgin Australia’s bid to create a virtual international network is complete, after the competition regulator gave final approval to the airline’s alliance with Singapore Airlines.

The deal will see shared procurement services which will include pricing, scheduling, marketing and sales on Australia-Singapore services and international and domestic connecting flights.

The deal effectively gives Virgin access to Singapore Airline’s network within Asia.
