WA Event: The Future of Sustainable Energy Procurement in WA, 1st June

The CIPSA Western Australia event, ‘The Future of Sustainable Energy Procurement in Western Australia’ is to be held on 1st June, 2011.

Since the introduction of the Wholesale Electricity Market in 2006, there has been strong growth in the development and adoption of sustainable energy technologies and services within Western Australia.

This event will provide procurement professionals with an overview on trends within the sustainable energy market, and a supplier perspective on the changing structure of the market, project structures for infrastructure development, and buyer demand.

Guest speakers at the event include Professor Ray Willls, CEO, Sustainable Energy Association.

Brenna Pavey, Acting Manager Strategy at Horizon Power; Dr Steve Gould, General Manager Retail, Landfill Gas & Power; and Craig Simonds, Strategy Procurement Manager for Verve Energy will all be on hand to provide presentations.
