What people want from training

A recent survey by the Transport and Logistics Centre (TALC) has discovered what industry professionals and their employers are hoping to achieve through training and education – and their goals are not the same.

In early 2009 the Transport and Logistics Centre (TALC) commissioned a study in Greater Western Sydney to ask logistics professionals about their personal education and training needs and expectations.

The study was supported through several industry associations, and included an online survey and face-to-face interviews with managers of small, medium and large companies. 260 professionals and 25 companies participated in the study.
