WA APICS warehousing workshop and seminar

21 Oct 2009

An APICS workshop presented by recognised warehousing authority John Ballantyne is taking place on Thursday 29 October from 8.30am to 4.30pm at the Perth Zoo.

John is a freelance process engineer specialising in warehouse design and development. He has designed and re-engineered warehouse assignments for Australia’s leading organisations.

He will highlight the factors that adversely affect and those that enhance warehouse performance - both of which affect the bottom line! You’ll be encouraged to think about how your own warehouse is performing, and how you could improve that performance.

John will cover managing internal and external customers, systems that make managing warehouses cost effective and efficient, what’s the key to appropriately designing warehouses, the documentation involved and how best to design picking locations.

There will be time for questions and John will be very happy to discuss other matters with you at the conclusion of the formal presentation.

For those unable to attend the full workshop, APICS and SCLAA have arranged an evening seminar that same day from 5.30pm to 8.00pm.

CIPSA members are eligible for APICS member rates for these events.
