Web seminar: Smart supply strategies for uncertain times

Oracle will hold a global information webcast for Australian supply chain players on managing logistics during the economic downturn.

The seminar will look at key supply chain functions like sales and operations planning, demand management and network optimisation via a panel of experts giving practical advice for logistics managers.

"So far it hasn’t been a rosy outlook for many companies. But that doesn’t mean that your company can’t improve its performance for better bottom-line results. The key is how you manage your supply chain," Oracle says.

Oracle says attendees will learn how to build a lean supply chain; how to sustain advantage and link supply chain to strategic process; how supply chain planning can be incorporated into daily operations; and how cost savings can be made through better supply chain management.

Real-world examples of successful applications of supply chain planning tools and technology will also be presented, Oracle says, along with new research on logistics planning.
