Woolworths aligns procurement strategies by adopting MSA standards

Supermarket giant Woolworths will adopt Meat Standards Australia (MSA) guidelines across its entire supply chain in order to align procurement strategies and increase product consistency.
"Woolworths is in the process of implementing a new procurement strategy for beef that will ensure a consistent quality standard across both livestock and boxed meat purchases in line with established MSA grading criteria," Woolworths spokesman, Benedict Brook, said.
